Cake Balls, Day 2
After last night’s defeat at the mercy of melted chocolate, I faced today determined NOT to waste the 2nd half of my red velvet cake balls. I still used chocolate chips except this time I added a little vegetable oil to it, which made a HUGE difference. Here is the much improved batch of cake balls:

Cake Balls were NOT the way to go...
Sorry Bakerella, but the cake balls did not come out as gorgeous and fab as in your lovely blog. Maybe it’s because I used chocolate chips instead of bark. Maybe it’s because I tried to melt it over a make-shift double broiler…but mine came out looking like this:

December is upon us...
Seriously, where did November go? It whizzed past and quickly moved onto December. Also, when did it get so cold? I guess it finally decided to become winter weather.
